Biography
Wang Shanshan is completing her EdD supervised by Prof. Icy Lee. Her thesis is to explore the Sheltered Instruction (SI) for English learners (ELs) as part of the promotion of English development. Her research interests are in language teaching methodology and second language writing, focusing on exploring innovative pedagogical practices for better and more effective teaching. Now with more than nine years of college teaching experiences, she has developed a deep understanding of the classroom practices and the social context of language teaching and learning, which will serve as a source of inspiration for her future research. She is also a certified tea artist. In her free time, she enjoys tasting tea, practicing yoga, and traveling to various places.
