Research Interests
Curriculum design, Chinese Language pedagogy, second language acquisition, formative assessment, instructional design, and the integration of technology and AI in language education.
Ms Ng Keow Eng has over 27 years of experience in Chinese Language education, having served in a range of teaching, leadership, and teacher development roles in Singapore primary schools and an international school in Hong Kong.
As a Head of Department, she led curriculum planning and implementation, supported school-wide instructional initiatives, and worked with teachers to enhance teaching and learning practices. As a Senior Teacher, she has extensive experience in teacher mentoring, instructional coaching, curriculum planning, classroom-based assessment, and the integration of educational technology in teaching and learning.
Her professional interests include Chinese Language pedagogy, second language acquisition, listening and speaking instruction, reading and writing development, formative assessment, instructional design, and the integration of technology and AI in language education.| 2022 | National Day Awards (The Long Service Medal) |
