Research Interests
His research interests include language testing, assessment for learning, teacher assessment literacy, and curriculum planning.
Dr Chan Kwong Tung is a Teaching Fellow at the Asian Languages and Cultures (ALC) department, where he is primarily responsible for teaching courses related to assessment and testing, as well as Management and Leadership in Schools (MLS). He is currently seconded from the Ministry of Education (MOE), where he previously served as a Lead Specialist at the Mother Tongue Languages Branch (MTLB) within the Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD). In this role, he was chiefly involved in the planning and development of the Chinese language curriculum. Before that, he served for many years as Head of Department for MTL.
