Zhai Jiayu

Zhai Jiayu is completing her PhD on examining multimodal academic listening from the neurocognitive approach, under the supervision of Assoc Prof Vahid Aryadoust. Her research interests are in language learning, listening assessment, and metacognition in L2 listening. She has published in peer-reviewed journals such as Metacognition and Learning, and International Review of Applied Linguistics in Language Teaching (IRAL). For leisure, Jiayu enjoys playing tennis and hiking.
