The Science of Learning in Education Centre (SoLEC) offers high‑quality Professional Development (PD) programmes grounded in research and designed for real‑world application. Our programmes translate the Science of Learning into practical strategies that support effective teaching, leadership, and organisational practice. 

Whether for schools, education professionals, or organisations, SoLEC PD programmes are customisable to meet your specific needs. 

Research‑Informed Expertise 

Learn from SoLEC researchers and NIE faculty with deep expertise in neuroscience, education, and learning sciences. 

Customisable Delivery 

Programmes can be conducted in person at your school or organisation, or hosted at the National Institute of Education (NIE). Delivery format and content can be discussed and tailored. 

Practical Application 

All sessions focus on actionable insights that can be directly applied to classroom practice, professional learning, and workplace contexts. 

• Duration: Half‑day or full‑day programmes (4 or 8 hours) 

• Minimum group size: 20 participants 

• Course content: Customised in consultation with interested parties
