How to Bring Therapy into the Classroom? Effective Teaching and Learning for all Young Children in Everyday Preschool Activities

On 9 April 2021, Asst Prof Xie Huichao, Psychology and Child & Human Development Academic Group, NIE, and Dr Honey Ng, Deputy Director, Preschool Management Division—Inclusive Education Team, PCF Sparkletots Preschool, delivered a webinar on “How to bring therapy into the classroom? Effective teaching and learning for all young children in everyday preschool activities”.

Asst Prof Xie first took the audience through the evolving early childhood landscape in Singapore, and shared suggestions on bringing therapy into preschool classrooms, followed by Dr Ng, who shared on successes that she experienced in the developing preschool inclusion landscape in Singapore.

The webinar wrapped up with an engaging question and answer session, moderated by Asst Prof Xie, and saw 117 attendees in total.
