Dr Kenneth Y T Lim Presents at the American Association of Geographers 2022 Conference

Dr Kenneth Y T Lim, Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, and two of his students presented their work on AI and data science at the American Association of Geographers 2022 Conference on 25 February 2022.

The paper, titled “Investigating the relationship between physiological stress and environmental factors through Data Science, the Internet of Things and DIY wearables”, was invited to be part of a symposium themed “Human Dynamics Research: Mining Human Dynamics with Big Data”. The presentation detailed the work of Dr Lim and his students over the course of ten months as they conceptualised, designed, and enacted a project studying learning at the intersection of AI, physiology, our environment, and well-being.
