This article explores the association between stress mindset and well-being of students during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic, as well as examining how the relationship between students’ stress-mindset and well-being can be mediated by students’ coping strategies.
Dr Imelda, Dr Tan and Miss Qamarina wrote another article titled “Future Orientation and Resilience of Academically At-Risk Students in Singapore” in the Moving Beyond Grades to Purposeful Learning book. This article explores and compares the future orientation of academically at-risk students who developed moderate to high resilience with that of their peers who developed a lower level of resilience. Findings from this study have shown that resilient students tend to have clearer academic goals and career plans compared to their less resilient peers.
