Exemplary Student Presentation awards at 20th ESEA Conference

We are pleased to announce that Sun Xiaoya and Zhang Hui, our ELL PhD students, were awarded “Exemplary Student Presentation” awards in the English in Southeast Asia (ESEA) 2019 Conference.

The title of Xiaoya’s presentation was Gaining Membership to the Global Research Community: The Journey of One Non-Anglophone Science Scholar. Zhang Hui presented his paper titled A Quantitative Investigation of Linguistic Landscape of Chinatown in Singapore.
