Dr Melvin Chan Publishes Book Chapter

Dr Melvin Chan, Assistant Dean (Knowledge Mobilisation), published a chapter in the book titled “Rasch Measurement: Applications in Quantitative Educational Research”. In the book chapter, “Validation of a Science Concept Inventory by Rasch Analysis”, Dr Chan explains how Rasch Analysis was used to validate to use of science concept inventories in science education in Singapore. The examples in this chapter were taken from the OER project “Core 3 Research Programme: A Quantitative Study of Learning and Teaching in Singapore Classrooms”.
