Dr Kenneth Y T Lim Publishes Paper on Cultivating Social Responsibility in the COVID19 Pandemic

Dr Kenneth Y T Lim, Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, has successfully authored a paper with NIE teacher-in-training Mr Samuel Li on how social responsibility might be nurtured among learners during the COVID19 pandemic. Mr Li qualified for NTU’s Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus (URECA) programme, which he chose to undertake with Dr Lim as his supervisor in 2020 / 2021.

Together, Dr Lim and Mr Li wrote about the Socially Responsible Behaviour through Embodied Thinking (SORBET) Project, titled “Personal spaces and communal consequences: navigating geographical tensions with the Socially Responsible Behaviour through Embodied Thinking (SORBET) Project”. It is published in the journal Frontiers in Virtual Reality, in the section on “Virtual Reality and Human Behaviour”, and in the article collection on “Human Spatial Perception, Cognition, and Behaviour in Extended Reality”.
