Dr Adam John Privitera publishes a journal article in the International Journal of Bilingualism

Dr Adam John Privitera, Education Research Scientist at the Science of Learning in Education Centre (SoLEC), wrote a journal article titled “Influence of Cognitive Control on the Moral Foreign Language Effect” in the International Journal of Bilingualism. The article shares more on what Moral Foreign Language Effect (MFLE) is, and how it is characterized by an increase in utilitarian responding when moral dilemmas are presented in a foreign language. Findings have shown that higher levels of cognitive control are associated with higher rates of utilitarian decisions on the classic Trolley dilemma when presented in a foreign language.
