Asst Prof Victor Lim Fei Organises Webinar on Multiliteracies Teaching

Asst Prof Victor Lim Fei, from NIE’s English Language and Literature Academic Group, organised a webinar on 27 May 2021 on “Multiliteracies Teaching: Reflections and Moving Ahead”, based on Asst Prof Lim’s project, “Integrating Multiliteracies into the English Language Classroom: Developing an Instructional Approach to Teach Multimodal Literacy (Critical Viewing and Effective Representing of Multimodal Texts)”.

The webinar featured project consultant, Prof Len Unsworth, Research Director, Educational Semiotics in English and Literacy Pedagogy, Australian Catholic University, project collaborator, Mr Charles Peters, Assistant Director, English Language (Primary) Unit, Curriculum Planning & Development Division, Ministry of Education (Singapore), and teachers participating in the project. The webinar was attended by 30 teachers from 6 schools in Singapore.
