Asst Prof Masato Kawabata gives Keynote and Publishes in the Journal of Sports Sciences

Asst Prof Masato Kawabata, from NIE’s Physical Education & Sports Science Academic Group, has published a paper and given a keynote address based on research findings from his project “Effects of school-based intervention programs in promoting moderate to vigorous physical activity during leisure time”.

Asst Prof Kawabata’s keynote was delivered at the Symposium on Psychology for Exercise Professionals in Leiria, Portugal on 21 March 2020, and was on “Physical activity promotion based on motivational theories”. His paper, titled “A multiple mediation analysis of the association between asynchronous use of music and running performance”, was published in the Journal of Sports Sciences.
