Asst Prof Heng Tang Tang Publishes in COMPARE

Asst Prof Heng Tang Tang, from NIE’s Policy, Curriculum and Leadership Academic Group, has published in COMPARE: A Journal of Comparative and International Education. The article, titled “At the intersection of educational change and borrowing: teachers implementing learner-centred education in Singapore” is based on her project “Exploratory Study of Singapore Teachers' Implementations and Experiences of Differentiated Instruction”. The project study examined the experiences of teachers in Singapore implementing differentiated instruction, a form of learner-centred education borrowed from the US, and the article suggests ways in which we support teachers involved in educational borrowing, professionally, intellectually, and emotionally.
