Asst Prof Heng Tang Tang and Assoc Prof Leonel Lim Publish in the Cambridge Journal of Education
Asst Prof Heng Tang Tang from NIE’s Policy, Curriculum and Leadership Academic Group (PCL) has published an article in the Cambridge Journal of Education based on research findings from her project, an “Exploratory Study of Singapore Teachers' Implementations and Experiences of Differentiated Instruction”.
The paper, titled “Diversity, difference, equity: how student differences are socially constructed in Singapore” was co-authored by Assoc Prof Leonel Lim, PCL. It examines how teachers in Singapore understand student diversity through their practices of differentiated instruction and, consequently, how these perceptions and practices engage with issues of equity.
