A/P Loh Chin Ee and Research Team Publish Report on Design Patterns for School Libraries

Loh C E Reports 24 March

The third report from A/P Loh Chin Ee’s OER project on Building a Reading Culture study is out.

The report, titled Design Patterns for School Libraries, provides design patterns as guides for schools looking to improve their library spaces for teaching and learning. It draws from time-lapse, photographic, observational, interview and survey data collected from six schools over a year. Study trips to various libraries in Singapore and internationally, from the MOE Library of the Future project and the Building a Reading Culture study inform the Design Guidelines in the second half of the report.

Other reports from the study include:
Report 1: Report on the Reading Habits of Singapore Teenagers 2017
Report 2: Envisioning the School Library of the Future: A 21st Century Framework
