It is never too late to grow, change, and begin again.

The programme was a transformative experience that expanded my intellectual horizons. Through modules that explored topics such as heritage, tourism, and the liveability of cities, I gained a deeper appreciation for the richness and relevance of the humanities in understanding contemporary issues. At the same time, the programme introduced me to the rigour behind education research—how careful conceptual framing, methodological clarity, and ethical sensitivity shape meaningful inquiry into teaching and learning.
What made the journey especially fulfilling were the academics who were infectiously passionate about their research interests and, more importantly, about nurturing their students’ learning. Their thought-provoking consultations and classroom discussions, created an environment where deep thinking could flourish. I also forged strong bonds with peers who shared a kindred spirit in education and self-development. Our conversations—whether in class, over meals, or late into the night—reminded me that learning should never be a solitary pursuit, but one deeply enriched by a community.NIEI Gold Medal Award plus Book Prize
