Homecoming
Proudly organised by the 34th NIE Student Teachers’ Club (NSTC) in collaboration with NIE Subsidiary Clubs, the SSM society, SWC, PIAR, and the Graduate Research Conference Committee, the NIE’s first-ever Homecoming brings together past, present and future educators of our nation.
Reconnect with former classmates and mentors, celebrate shared memories, and be part of a legacy that continues to shape the future of education. We’re excited to welcome not only educators, but also their families and loved ones to share in the fun of this momentous occasion.
The day will feature interactive activities, wellness initiatives, networking sessions, food vendors, and exciting showcases—all designed to create a lively and meaningful gathering for the NIE community.

Charity Run
As part of NIE Day 2025 and the 75th Anniversary celebrations, the Charity Run invites the NIE community to get active and give back. This initiative combines fitness with philanthropy, encouraging participants to donate based on the distance they run or walk. Each lap recorded around the NIE Triangle amounts to a $5 donation by our generous donor, Ascendance Wealth Management (AWM), American Insurance Assurance (AIA), with all proceeds going to the NIE Advancement Fund (NIE AF).
For the first time, the Charity Run will be held alongside Homecoming and After-Party activities—creating a larger, more inclusive event for student-teachers, alumni, staff, and partners.
How You Can Take Part:
Run or walk for a cause: Record as many laps as you can!
Participate in our games booths: Join us at our games booths, organised by the NIE House Captains! Open to all participants regardless of house affiliation, our fun-filled activities offer you chances to win exciting prizes through our lucky draw!
Join charity activities: Contribute to the flower booth sales in support of student-initiated service learning projects that promote education through community service in rural areas, including NIE’s Service and Leadership Training programme (SALT) and Project LoveSikkim.
About the NIE Advancement Fund
Funds raised will support student-teachers and staff through scholarships, bursaries, conference opportunities, research awards, and student life projects—helping shape the next generation of educators.

NIE Day Graduation Celebration and After-Party
This year’s NIE Day 2025 and 75th Anniversary Celebrations will conclude with an after-party, creating a unified evening of celebration and connection.
Previously held as a standalone Graduation event in May, this special gathering will now commemorate the graduation of NIE’s Class of 2025 during NIE Day, as well as offer an opportunity for our newly minted graduates to return to campus, reflect on their journey, but more importantly reconnect with peers, seniors, and like-minded juniors, to build new connections across the fraternity.
Merchandise Sales and Giveaways
NSTC Merchandise Sale II (3 Sep 2025 to 4 Sep 2025) will be taking place in conjunction with Homecoming to offer a chance for alumni to revisit and purchase new editions of NIE Merchandise.
In addition, exclusive 75th-anniversary merchandise will be available as free giveaways across all events, including limited-edition shirts specific to Charity Run 2025 and NIE 75th Anniversary Celebrations, offering participants a chance to take home a special memento from the occasion.
