教育部长陈振声受委担任东南亚教育部长组织理事会主席

ZB noted that Minister has been appointed as the President of the Southeast Asian Ministers for Education Organisation (SEAMEO) Council for this year and the next, and hosted the 51st SEAMEO Council Conference virtually on 17/6. ZB highlighted that the theme for Singapore's presidency was “New Education Imperatives in a Post-COVID Era”. As part of Singapore's presidency, MOE, together with the SEAMEO Regional Language Centre, the National Institute of Education International and the Science Centre will be organising a suite of activities to exchange views on educational leadership and language training. A new 10-year SEAMEO Strategic Plan 2021-2030 was also launched at the conference, laying out the region’s priorities for education, science and culture.
