The SORBET Project Featured in Singapore Press Holdings’ Publication ‘IN’
Dr Kenneth Y T Lim, Research Scientist at the Office of Education Research, and his team have been collaborating with primary and secondary school teachers on the Socially Responsible Behaviour through Embodied Thinking (SORBET) Project since March 2020. They have helped design learning environments which give opportunities to learners to develop more authentic understandings of the need to practise positive social habits in the context of an ongoing pandemic. In the Singapore Press Holdings’ newspaper for secondary schools—IN—the efforts of Dr Lim and team were recognised through a feature on the SORBET Project on 25 January 2021. The feature drew attention to the learning units where students from Cedar Girls’ School, St Joseph’s Institution, and Temasek Junior College used the SORBET Project to design peer-based learning activities.
