Research Report on Integrating Multiliteracies into English Language Classrooms

Singapore has progressively incorporated aspects of multimodality into the English Language Syllabus since 2010. The research report titled “Multiliteracies in the Singapore English language classroom: Perceptions and practices” presents the perceptions of multiliteracies from the perspectives of both the teacher and the student, and is available on the NIE Digital Repository.

This report arose from the research study “Integrating Multiliteracies into the English Language Classroom: Developing an Instructional Approach to Teach Multimodal Literacy” led by Asst Prof Victor Lim Fei of NIE.
