Professor Michael Chia and Mr Terence Chua publish six journal papers in three academic journals
Professor Michael Chia and Mr Terence Chua, Research Assistant from the Physical Education & Sports Science Academic Group (PESS AG) published six journal papers in three academic journals.
The first four papers were published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health and they are:
- The Associations between 24-Hour Movement Behaviours and Quality of Life in Preschoolers: A Compositional Analysis of Cross-Sectional Data from 2018–2021;
- Play–Sleep Nexus in Indonesian Preschool Children before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic;
- Associations between Parents’ Digital Media Habits, Engagement, Awareness, and Movement Guidelines among Preschool-Age Children: International Ipreschooler Surveillance Study; and
- Associations between Parent Attitudes and on- and off-Screen Behaviours of Preschool Children in Singapore.
The other two journals, “Time-use among pre-school children in Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Finland: insights from an unsupervised clustering approach”, which was published in the journal of Digital Health, Volume 8 on pages 1 to 16, and “Meeting the WHO 24-h guidelines among 2-6-year-old children by family socioeconomic status before and during the COVID-19 pandemic: a repeated cross-sectional study” which was published in the Journal of Activity, Sedentary and Sleep Behaviors. Both papers only available in press.
