NIE Researchers Publish in the International Journal of Leadership in Education

Dr Jeanne Ho, Senior Teaching Fellow at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP), Assoc Prof David Ng, Assoc Dean (Academic Quality) at the Office of Strategic Planning and Academic Quality, Dr Chua Puay Huat, Senior Teaching Fellow at the Office of Education Research, and Ms Norhayati Binte Munir, CRPP Research Assistant, have published in the International Journal of Leadership in Education.

The paper, titled “Leadership across schools to diffuse an education innovation: applying complexity leadership theory with ecological leadership” examined leadership practices which supported the diffusion of an innovation in a cluster of schools in Singapore, through the lenses of complexity leadership theory (CLT) and ecological leadership. It was informed by findings from a project studying “Diffusing Education Innovations at Different Levels of the System: Perspectives from Ecological Leadership”, on which Dr Ho is Principal Investigator, and Dr Chua and Assoc Prof Ng are co-PIs.
