Dr Nirmala Karuppiah and Assoc Prof Kenneth Poon Publish a Chapter on Early Childhood Education in Singapore

Dr Nirmala Karuppiah, Head (Education) at the Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD), and Assoc Prof Kenneth Poon, CRCD Centre Co-Director, have published a chapter on “Early Childhood Education in Singapore”. The chapter was published in the International Handbook on Education in South East Asia, part of the Springer International Handbooks of Education series, and discusses the evolution of the early childhood education (ECE) sector in Singapore to improve the access, affordability, and quality of ECE for all children in Singapore.
