Dr Munirah Kadir Interviewed on Teacher Well-being on Radio Warna 94.2 FM

Dr Munirah Kadir, Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, was interviewed on teacher well-being on Radio Warna 94.2 FM. The interview, by radio DJ Aura Shai was conducted in Malay and was broadcast on 27, 28, and 29 September 2021.

Dr Kadir spoke on how teacher’s emotions and well-being can be supported by the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE), students’ parents, and teachers’ friends and family. Some suggestions offered by Dr Kadir include encouraging students’ parents to be understanding of teachers’ responsibilities, and recommending that schools play an active role in checking on how teachers are doing and providing better feedback channels to allow teachers to have their voices heard.
