Dr Khor Ean Teng Karen Invited to Editorial Board and Publishes a Paper

Dr Khor Ean Teng Karen, Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, was invited to the editorial board of the European Journal of Educational Research, an open-access, peer reviewed journal.

She has also published a paper, titled “A data mining approach using machine learning algorithms for early detection of low-performing students”, the International Journal of Information and Learning Technology. The paper details a research study that builds predictive models for early detection of low-progress learners, and examines the factors that influence students’ performance. Dr Khor’s paper was accepted by the journal without revision.
