Associate Professor Edward Park Appointed PIFI International Distinguished Scientist by the Chinese Academy of Sciences

Associate Professor Edward Park has been appointed a CAS PIFI International Distinguished Scientist under the 2026 Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) International Exchange Program.

This prestigious appointment is conferred by the Chinese Academy of Sciences on internationally recognised scholars in acknowledgment of their academic excellence and global research impact. The PIFI International Distinguished Scientist title supports the development of long-term, high-impact international collaborations between leading global researchers and CAS institutes.

As part of this appointment, Associate Professor Park will undertake an official two-week academic visit in 2026 to CAS institutes in Xi’an and Beijing, where he will engage in scholarly exchange and lay the foundation for future collaborative research initiatives.
