Assistant Professor Azilawati Jamaludin speaks at the 22nd International Conference on Education Research
Asst Prof Azilawati Jamaludin, Assistant Dean at the Science of Learning in Education (SoLEC), and Assistant Professor at NIE’s Learning Sciences and Assessment Academic Group (LSA AG), was invited to deliver a presentation at the 22nd International Conference on Education Research (ICER) hosted by Seoul National University (SNU). Themed “Innovative Pedagogies of Coexistence in a Posthuman World”, the 22nd ICER took the form of a hybrid event on 20 and 21 October 2022 for educators and education researchers from varying backgrounds to learn about innovative pedagogies of coexistence that have emerged in diverse contexts across the globe.
Asst Prof Azilawati delivered a presentation titled, “A Neuroscience Approach to Personalised Learning for At-Risk Learners in Singapore”, where she shared about personalised learning designs informed by Science of Learning modalities. Insightful questions were asked by the audience comprising of faculty and graduate students from different universities. The session ended with heightened interest for continuing collaborations in Science of Learning between SNU and NIE.
