冠病疫情如何影响孩子心理健康

In June 2020, CRCD research scientists Yue Yu and Yang Yang led a survey-based study on the impact of COVID-19 on families with underaged children. Participants were 505 adults and 235 children from 198 Singaporean families. They found that COVID-19 and the circuit breaker significantly changed family dynamics and family members’ lifestyle. Children’s mental health worsened during this period, which can be partially explained by decreased time spent outdoors, increased conflict with fathers, and decreased mental health of their mothers.
