Visiting Chinese Scholars to Mathematics and Mathematics Education (MME) Academic Group

MME Academic Group had the pleasure of welcoming three visiting scholars from China.


Dr Cheng Dongqin from Jinan University, Guangzhou, China

Dr Cheng Dongqin will be with MME from 13 July 2022 to 12 July 2023.

She is working on graph theory with A/P Dong Fengming. Her research interests include embedding and fault tolerance properties of graph theory and interconnection networks.


Dr Zhang Shumin from Qinghai Normal University, Xining, China

Dr Zhang Shumin will be with MME from 14 October 2022 to 13 October 2023.

She is working on graph theory with A/P Dong Fengming. Her research interests are at the graph connectivity, the generalized connectivity and the conditional connectivity, dominating colorings, dominating and isolation.


Dr Deng Qingying from Xiangtan University, China

Dr Deng Qingying will be with MME from 27 December 2022 – 26 December 2024.

She is working on Graph theory and Knot Theory with A/P Dong Fengming. Her research interests are at graph polynomials, knot polynomials, graph connectivity.
