Professor Tan Oon Seng delivered Keynote at 5th M.Y. World Symposium in conjunction with the 80th Anniversary of Metropolitan YMCA Singapore

The Metropolitan YMCA celebrated its 80th Anniversary on 9 April 2026 at the Singapore EXPO, launching the milestone celebration with a keynote address for M.Y. World early childhood educators and leaders. Professor Tan Oon Seng delivered the opening keynote titled “Laying Precious Foundations in the Early Years.”

In his address, Prof Tan shared valuable insights on nurturing values, social-emotional competencies, and positive learning dispositions in young children. His presentation resonated strongly with the audience and inspired the educators.
