Prof Tan Oon Seng Gives Two Keynote Addresses

Prof Tan Oon Seng, Centre Director at the Centre for Research in Child Development, gave two virtual keynote addresses at international conferences in February 2021. The first keynote was delivered at the International Congress for Educators, hosted by Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, Peru, from 16 to 18 February 2021. The conference was themed “The Future of Learning”, and Prof Tan’s keynote touched on “Teacher education: How to prepare learning for the future”.

Prof Tan delivered another keynote on 22 February 2021 at the Education, Engineering Education and Instruction Technology Conference 2021, hosted by Qatar University. Dr Ibrahim Al-Nami, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar, gave the first keynote address at the conference, and the second keynote address was Prof Tan’s keynote on “Innovating Tertiary Education with a “Expertise Building Approach” to Learning and Assessment”.
