NIE NTU celebrates Leaders In Education Programme Graduation
31 Singapore school leaders will be graduating from the Leaders in Education Programme (LEP) at a ceremony held on 1 December 2021 where Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Education, is the Guest-of-Honour.
The LEP is a programme that enables its graduates to lead schools to higher level of educational excellence. This programme supports graduates to be better prepared for the challenges and demands of the fast-changing system today.
The programme takes place over the span of seven months, and the main parties that contribute to this collaborative effort includes NIE academics, MOE staff and principal mentors.
Three of the graduands will also receive a prize or award for exemplifying the highest level of learning related to curriculum leadership; highest performance in the Creative Action Project (CAP); and best overall performance in LEP from the Education Minister.
The Valedictorian for this year’s cohort is Ms Ho Hil May, who is also the award recipient for the Lee Kuan Yew Leaders in Education Programme Award.
