Dr Teng Siao See speaks at Ministry of Defence’s roundtable event
Dr Teng Siao See, Asst Dean (Strategic Engagement) and Research Scientist at the Office of Education Research was invited to speak at the Ministry of Defence’s (MINDEF) 26th Social Resilience and Research Roundtable (SR3) on 3 June 2022 via Microsoft Teams. Themed “Understanding Social Resilience”, Dr Teng gave a presentation titled “Navigating Diversities and Difference in Singapore Schools: An Exploratory study on Singapore students’ intercultural mindedness”. Her presentation was based on two of her journal articles: “Developing Intercultural Mindedness through an Experiential Learning Activity—A Case Study from Singapore” and “Navigating diversities: experiences of youths in one Singapore school”.
