Dr Kenneth Lim Yang Teck and his students facilitate a virtual workshop session at UNESCO’s Education for Sustainable Development-Net 2030 Learning webinar

On 30 March 2023, Dr Lim Yang Teck Kenneth, Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP), along with his students, were invited by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to facilitate a 90-min virtual workshop session at the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)-Net 2030 Learning Webinar.

They shared their work on learning at the intersection of AI, physiology, electroencephalogram (EEG), our environment, and well-being (the Life²Well Project) as part of UNESCO's first online interactive learning webinar, for the benefit of its global network of education stakeholders: ESD-Net 2030. Registered participants came from all over the world as such African nations, Central and South Asia, United Kingdom, Europe, East Asia, Middle East, North, Central and South America, as well as Southeast Asia.

ESD-Net 2030 was set up in October 2022 to take the lessons learned from the Global Action Programme and subsequently facilitate the implementation of the ESD for 2030 framework and its roadmap. To this end, the webinar is designed with a focus on sharing and strengthening pedagogical approaches and key competencies in ESD. The webinar was opened by Ms Jun Morohasi, Chief of Section of ESD, Education Sector, UNESCO.
