Congratulations to our OAAS Colleagues on receiving the NTU Admin Excellence Merit Award!

The Office of Academic Administration and Services (OAAS) at NIE transformed the Student Services Centre (SSC) by synergising and integrating service delivery from front line to back end. 

With new strategic physical location, the office designed an open SSC service counter that is transaction friendly. In addition, new processes were implemented that resulted in significant improvements in student service delivery such as shorter waiting and completion time, conversion of more than 90% of physical forms to online forms, and cross deployment and transfer of skills between colleagues. 

The NTU Student Experience Survey on students' satisfaction with student services went up 6.6% from 2018 to 2019. At 87.3%, it is one of the highest percentage increases among NTU schools. 

The NTU Admin Excellence Awards recognize and honour deserving Management Support Officers whose performance adds value and helps achieve the University’s goals.
