Assoc Prof Mark Baildon Presents at the NIE Higher Degrees Distinguished Speaker Series and NIE-Teachers College Symposium

Assoc Prof Mark Baildon, Associate Dean (Partnership and Analysis) at OER, gave a presentation at the NIE Higher Degrees Distinguished Speaker Series and the NIE-Teachers College Symposium that took place on 10 January 2020. The symposium was attended by 380 graduate students who were embarking on a journey to attain a Higher Degree in Education.

The theme of the symposium was “Changing conceptions of youth, school and work” and Assoc Prof Baildon shared on the topic "Finding Meaning and Purpose in Education Amidst Emerging Trends in Education". His sharing arose from his OER research project "Purpose and Meaning for Singaporean Society: The Impact of the Future of Work on Individual Purpose and the Role of Education".
