Participating in the Asia Pacific Linguistics Olympiad (APLO) and International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL)

The top 15 performers in the SLO will be eligible to participate in the Asia Pacific Linguistics Olympiad (https://aplo.asia/), to be held on 29 March 2026 at Nanyang Technological University. The SLO OC may officially recognise one team comprising four participants, based on their performance in the APLO, as the representatives of Singapore to the International Linguistics Olympiad, to be held in July 2026 in Bucharest, Romania. Please note that the SLO Organizing Committee is unable to provide any financial support for any aspect of a Singapore team’s participation in IOL2026.
