The Translation for Impact (T4I) Symposium brings together researchers, policymakers, educators and school leaders to share ideas and deepen understanding of how research can make a difference in education.


The one-day symposium will feature a keynote, discussions and opportunities for exchange, exploring practical approaches to translating research into policy and practice, engaging different stakeholders, and strengthening the connections between research and real-world educational needs.

Participants will also have opportunities to connect across roles and sectors, share experiences and learn from different approaches to research impact.

Keynote Speaker

Dr Elizabeth N. Farley-Ripple

Professor, School of Education, University of Delaware
Co-Director, Center for Research Use in Education
Director, Partnership for Public Education

Dr Elizabeth N. Farley-Ripple specialises in evidence use, knowledge mobilization and educational leadership. Her work, supported by major foundations, has been published in journals including Educational Researcher, AERA Open and Educational Policy.
