SLL collaboration wins prestigious MOE Innergy Gold Award

 

SLL enjoys a close partnership with Corporation Primary School where core team member Ms Grace Liow is situated as School Staff Developer. This year, SLL’s technical specialist Ms See Phay Fun supported Ms Liow and her team in their virtual fieldwork project. The collaboration yielded great results and a 2025 MOE Innergy Gold Award. Congratulations to Grace, Phay Fun and the team from Corporation Primary School!

SLL’s Ast/Prof Wang Jingyu also interacted with Primary Six students in their post-PSLE microclimate project. The students analysed weather data to identify the best site for an outdoor bubble tea café and created a prototype based on their findings. A/P Wang shared his perspectives as an academic advocating environmental sustainability and delivered a child-friendly mini lecture that deepened students’ understanding of the considerations behind sustainable design. The project was later showcased on Graduation Day, where parents gave positive feedback on the meaningful learning their children gained.
