NIE colleagues publish a research article in the journal of Discourse, Context & Media

Associate Professor Loh Chin Ee from the English Language & Literature Academic Department (ELL AD) and Associate Dean of Impact & Partnerships at the Office for Research (OfR), along with Associate Professor Victor Lim Fei also from ELL AD, and Ms Lorraine Ow, Unit Head, Research-Practice-Policy Group (RPPG), OfR, co-authored a research article titled, “Digital crossings: A case study of a knowledge mobilisation approach for translating research into practice”, for the special issue, “Mediating scientific knowledge for diverse audiences on digital platforms”, edited by Rosa Lorés and Pilar Mur-Dueñas for the Tier 1 journal, Discourse, Context & Media. The article discusses, for the first time, the National Institute of Education’s Knowledge Framework in a journal article and, using a project website featuring education research in Singapore, how knowledge mobilisation takes place through the recontextualisation of research via digital media to engage varied audiences beyond the academia.
