Ms Lorraine Ow speaks at launch of Centre for International, Language and Teacher Education Research (CILTER)

Ms Lorraine Ow, Unit Head, Research-Practice-Policy Group (RPPG), OfR, was invited by Professor Sin-Wang Chong, Center Director, Center for International, Language Teacher Education Research (CILTER) at the International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute (IELLI), University of St. Andrews, United Kingdom, to give a plenary presentation for the hybrid launch event of the research center on 27 June 2025, 930am (BST). Through the webinar talk titled "Navigating the Multiverse of Research and Practice in Education: Making the Mission Possible", Lorraine shared the work at the Office for Research (OfR), Research-Practice-Policy Group drawing on a framework of dissemination, engagement, and implementation, and work done by colleagues at the National Institute of Education to bridge the research and practice parallel universes, transform educational outcomes, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. About 70 people attended the event onsite and online.
