Monologue Mash-Up 2024

On 6th December 2024, ELL hosted the inaugural Monologue Mash-Up Finals online. Designed to be a drama competition cum cultural exchange, the event brought together Singapore students from the National Institute of Education and Nanyang Technological University and Japanese students from Aichi Shukutoku University and Meijo University to learn about writing, performing and evaluating original bite-sized monologues via Zoom. The Finals involved 11 participants and produced 6 winners. Given the success of this pilot, ELL hopes to expand the competition in 2025.
