Dr Lim Yang Teck Kenneth and his students share their work on Deep Learning at the annual conference of the Royal Geographical Society in London

Dr Lim Yang Teck Kenneth, Senior Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP), shared two student-initiated projects on the use of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, at the annual conference of the Royal Geographical Society in London in August. Dr Lim’s students, Ong Yi Xin and Christopher Cheng, presented their paper titled “Designing an Autonomous Platform using Hobbyist Robotics Embedded Computing for Performing Geospatial 3D Mapping”, while Dr Lim, Edwin Ong and Liow Shang Yu presented “Exploring Ornithological Identification with Deep Learning and Citizen Science”.
