Dr Lee Shu Shing presents at the School Staff Developer Networking and Engagement session at the Academy of Singapore Teachers
On 14 August 2025, Dr Lee Shu Shing, Education Research Scientist from the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP), was invited to conduct a breakout session at the School Staff Developer (SSD) Networking and Engagement session at the Academy of Singapore Teachers.
Dr Lee shared her research findings on situated professional learning with SSDs from primary, secondary and junior college levels. Through her sharing, Dr Lee invited the SSDs to engage with one another and reflect on current school practices that align with situated professional learning. This opened a space for SSDs to exchange experiences and discuss challenges in schools.
The sessions concluded with Dr Lee inviting the SSDs to build on current professional learning initiatives in school and to leverage existing tools and frameworks to design impactful situated professional learning experiences.
