Dr Kenneth Lim Yang Teck shares his team's work in AI and the Digital Humanities at the 15th Annual Global Symposium of the Mobiles for Education Alliance
On 8 October 2025, Dr Lim Yang Teck Kenneth, Senior Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP) shared the work of his team at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Digital Humanities at the 15th Annual Global Symposium of the mEducation Alliance, held in Washington, D.C., USA. Dr Lim represented members Koh Wen Xin, Wong Zi Jia, Nathan Asikin and Anton Pascual in his presentation titled “Student-initiated inquiry in the digital humanities with natural language processing (NLP) from East and Southeast Asian contexts”. The mEducation Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on the evidence-driven and sustainable role of technology in education to advance quality educational outcomes. Founded in 2010, the Alliance is the largest multi-stakeholder convening platform for Ministries of Education (MoEs), policymakers, donors, investors, researchers, and practitioners to work together, particularly in lower-resource, developing country contexts.
