Centre for Assessment & Evaluation (CAE): Visit by Dr Jeanne Century (April 2025)
Between 21 April and 30 April 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr Jeanne Century, a visiting consultant from the University of Chicago. Over the course of her visit, Dr Century brought invaluable expertise and fresh perspectives through a series of engagements with our team and colleagues across several departments.
During her time with us, Dr Century conducted:
- Webinars on “Making Programs Work: An Introduction to Implementation Science” and “Making Programs Last: Understanding Key Factors for Sustainability", which drew participation from both local and international attendees.
- Workshops that provided hands-on strategies and tools to deepen understanding and application of Implementation Science.
- Consultation sessions with various teams, offering tailored advice on ongoing and future projects.
These sessions not only deepened our understanding of Implementation Science but also inspired rich discussions on how to contextualise and apply its principles into our local setting. Participants’ feedback has been positive, with many highlighting the relevance and applicability of the content to their work.
We are deeply grateful to Dr Century for her generous sharing and thoughtful engagement and we look forward to future opportunities for collaboration.
