University of CalgaryDr Jacobsen’s research focuses on design, learning and technology, with grant projects for online faculty development in quality graduate supervision, graduate student peer mentoring, science and technology communication skills,
and design-based learning, technology and teaching in K-12, post-secondary and health care contexts and classrooms. Her current research centres around faculty development for quality graduate supervision, surveying graduate student experiences with supervision, their programme and university, peer mentorship for graduate students and post-doctorate
