Professor Tan Oon Seng speaks at the “Education First: Power of Educators” event in Abu Dhabi

On 24 January 2023, Prof Tan Oon Seng, Centre Director of the Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD), was invited to give a keynote speech at the “Education First: Power of Educators” event at the ADNEC Marina Hall in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The event was one of the first of its kind which features an interactive activation-cum-conference type event, and was oversubscribed with the maximum capacity of 350 attendees. Prof Tan gave the only keynote highlighting areas aside from education such as values, character and citizenship education, and the need to find creative ways to reach the hearts, minds and human software of the next generation.
